Scottish Farmland Market

In Scotland the amount of farmland publicly marketed in the national press during the first nine months of 2009 fell by -25% to 24,000 acres compared with 31,700 acres for the same period of 2008. This is similar to the figure for Great Britain as a whole, which recorded a decrease of -21% in advertised farmland.
