In Q2/2014, stock changes came from one new Grade B and two new Grade C projects, as well as more than 360 m² of additional stock in one existing Grade B project in district 1. As of Q2/2014, 220 projects supplied more than 1.4 million m² in HCMC, up 2% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and 6% year-on-year (YoY).

The total retail stock was approximately 870,000 m², increasing 2% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) due to a supply of approximately 10,800 m² in retail podiums and 7,400 m² in shopping centres. In Q2/2014, Ha Noi’s total apartment supply was approximately 95,800 units from 162 sold projects and 67 active projects. The total primary stock decreased by -8% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to over 13,400 units. Only one new projects launched; however, four Grade C projects were sold and removed from the primary market.

Ha Noi’s hotel market had 61, three to 5-star hotels with 8,490 rooms, up 4% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and 10% year-on-year (YoY). The additional supply came from the official ranking of five hotels, including one 4-star hotel with 86 rooms, four 3-star hotels with 207 rooms and 100 rooms in a partially opened 5-star hotel in the west.
